For the pasta
- 300 g fettuccine (or any pasta)
- Salt for boiling
For the chicken
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
For the Alfredo sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken: Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo sauce: Melt butter in the same pan. Add minced garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Add Parmesan and stir until thickened.
- Combine: Add pasta and chicken to the sauce. Stir until everything is coated. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
Tips
- Don’t let the sauce boil too hard — it keeps it creamy.
- Add mushrooms or broccoli for extra flavor.
- Use a bit of pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
